Giselle Andrea Borrero is 24 years old senior, born in Cali, Colombia and raised in Orange Park, FL. She is pursuing her bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering in the College of Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Central Florida in Orlando. She joined the Machine Learning Lab in Summer 2009, where she is currently working on evolutionary approaches for global optimization of functions, under the supervision of Dr. Michael Georgiopolous. Along with her team member Chadrick, she was responsible for the software portion which included coding the main program along with its wireless components. After receiving her bachelor’s in August 2011, she plans to receive her second bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering the following spring semester. Then she plans to continue with a master’s degree specializing in Intelligent Systems and Machine Learning.

Samuel is a 37 year old Disabled American Veteran from Miami, FL, majoring in Electrical Engineering at the University of Central Florida in August 2011. He is an accomplish Naval Nuclear Power Officer in the Navy, and was responsible for the pulse oximeter, gyroscope, accelerometer and the interfacing of all parts along with team member Daniel. After receiving his bachelors in Electrical Engineering, he anticipates pursuing his Master’s in Electrical Engineering specializing in power distribution and solar power. After achieving this goal, he intends to give back to the community by joining the government workforce.

Daniel Thompson is 28 years old, who is currently a senior at the University of Central Florida and will receive his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering in August of 2011.  He was responsible for the display unit, board design, and the interfacing of embedded parts along with team member Samuel.  He plans to continue with Master's degree at the University of Central Florida.  His primary interests are in embedded systems, linear controls and mathematical modeling.

Chadrick is a 23 year old senior from Gainesville, FL, majoring in Computer Engineering at the University of Central Florida in Orlando, FL.  Along with his team member Giselle, he was responsible for all of the major software components of this project including the LCD, wireless, and the android application.  After receiving his Bachelors of Science in Computer Engineering in August of 2011, he plans to receive his second Bachelor's of Science in Electrical Engineering in the following spring semester.  Upon completion, Chadrick plans to enroll into the graduate program at the University of Central Florida, focusing on Intelligent systems, or enter the workforce.
