Project Description
The Huddy Buddy was designed to reduce the amount of distractions on a driver and increase safety and awareness when behind the wheel. The Huddy Buddy implements a HUD Display that is collimated through lenses and placed into the driver's field of view, such that their focus is not removed from the road ahead. The HUD provides details about the vehicles current speed, fuel economy, and navigation information using turn-by-turn directions. Additionally, the Huddy Buddy monitors for accidents. If an accident was to occur, a text is sent to an emergency contact containing the current GPS coordinates of the Huddy Buddy to reduce the response time for those affected to get needed care.
