Our goal is to determine whether or not it is possible to create a portable 3D scanner that can scan
an object or a part of a room and create a good 3D image, while also making sure the price is low
compared to portable 3D scanners on the market today. We want to make this for photographers,
game designers, and hobbyists who don’t want to spend over $10,000 on a portable scanner.
