Pet Connect is a home system that allows pet owners to let their pet outside when they are away from their house. It consists of an Android mobile application, a rod-like linear actuator, and a multiple sensors unit. The multiple sensors recognize when the pet is at the door waiting to go outside and will then alert the owner through the mobile app. The owner then has the ability to open the door from the app resulting in the linear actuator pulling the door open.
