The Portable Watering Device is a self-sustained
system composed of a solar panel, a microcontroller
with a few sensors behind it, a water tank and a pump.
The solar panel is used to charge a battery on the
device which we use to power the system.
The microcontroller behind the solar panel is
connected to a few sensors (temperature, humidity,
pressure, etc.) which are used to predict when the best
time to water the plants will be throughout the day.
Users will be able to see and control all this
information from a smartphone application.
The three main requirements we are after with this
device are efficiency, portability and connectivity.
