Our project is a car tracking system made for parking garages, specifically UCF's. We use a simple photoresister placed on each garage entrance and exit to count how many cars pass in and out of garages. From here the sensors are read from our kiosk system, which then processes and sends this information over to our web server which stores the information into a database. From there we have created a web client that displays this information in such a way that it allows users to make educated decisions on where they will have the best chances of finding a parking spot. We also allow users to store and retrieve their vehicles location using either our web client or the kiosk system located in the garages.
