First Person Robotic Targeting System

Objective

Create a robotic system that can be sent into enemy territory and hit a target while being controlled at a safe distance with the use of virtual reality.

Motivations

-Solders are placed into unknown and dangerous areas

-Long range, large area weapons aren't suitable in most cases

-Tele-operational machinery would make missions safer and swifter

Our System

Our project resulted in a robotic system that could be operated remotely via a PlayStation 4 Controller. This design allowed for ease of use by both developers and users. The resulting system is capable of solving our initial objective.
