Meet The Team

Daniel Graves is an electrical engineering major graduating in fall of 2016. After gradation I hope to receive a job in the power industry. My degree primarily focused on power system analysis and design with a secondary focus on analog filter design. My primary focus in the project was the charge controller. I also headed designing the power and charge controller PCB.

Devin Hobby is an electrical engineer of class 2016. During his studies he worked as a Simulations System Intern with MITRE Corp. in the Army division. His degree focus is on embedded systems, MEMS, and photonics. He worked closely with Dan on the charge controller switching network and buck converter. He also worked on the cooling system which cooled beverages using Peltier plates, and headed the layout of the prototype.

Hugh Hackler is an electrical engineering graduate of the fall class of 2016. His degree focus is on audio, signal processing, and power. He designed the active filter crossover network along with the amplifier. He hopes to pursue a career in audio engineering, signal processing, or renewable energy.

Mark Boutwell is a senior at the University of Central Florida studying Computer Engineering. He is currently a software developer at the Institute for Simulation and Training as an Army Contractor. He created and programmed the microcontroller and LED display systems. He also developed the mobile application for Android.
