The Boxing Buddy hopes to bridge the gap between making boxing more accessible to people while also making it an affordable option for its users. Boxing Buddy provides a private training simulation that a user can utilize in the privacy of their own home for only a one-time price that will save them money in the long-run. To do this we track reaction time and use accelerometers to track the force of the user, so they can view their growth and progression within the sport. We also created a durable structure with strike pads and an interactive mobile application where the user can choose from pre-programmed workouts. Within the app, the user can control whcih workout to partake in, view their results from the workouts, and log their workout history to track their progress.
