Project Description

As technology has progressed in the past few years, the use of smart devices have become increasingly common among consumers. More specifically, smart home devices are used on a daily basis in many households. These smart home devices may include smart appliances, smart speakers, smart TVs, and more. Our vision was to create and integrate a smart device into a household that is not only useful, but also fits into a consumer's daily routine. Our smart mirror can be placed anywhere a normal mirror would be while providing "smart" features to its user. Whether you're brushing your teeth or fixing your hair, you will have access to information such as the time, weather, news updates, and more while using the mirror. This information on the mirror is organized neatly in a user interface while not being too distracting. Google's smart assistant is also integrated in the smart mirror to provide all of its features to the user via voice commands.
