Senior Design Group 21 Aerojet FAR Robotic Payload - Red Team

Our Project

This project resulted in the creation of a full payload system for entry into the FAR rocket competition. The FAR rocket competition requires a rocket and payload to be created, and the payload must fit into one of the given categories. We chose the category of reconnaissance vehicle. This required us to make a rover that is controlled remotely and can transmit and display wireless video to the user. To allow this rover to integrate with the rocket and keep the rover safe during landing, a capsule was also created in this project. The rover and capsule fit together for deployment from a rocket that the Arcturus senior design team created.
