LPVO
Low Power Variable Opticwith Automatic Distance Correction
About The Project
The main goal of our project is to design a variable optic scope that achieves a 1 to 6 times magnification, that communicates with an attached rangefinder to automatically adjust a reticle as to account for the fall of a bullet at different distances due to gravity. The rangefinder will transmit distance information to the reticle that will subsequently raise or lower the center point according to the required accommodation necessary to hit a target. This will ensure that the user can accurately hit a target with minimal training and minimal input to facilitate the aiming process.
