A Parking Garage Monitoring Project
The motivation of this project was to make it easier for students, teachers and guests to find parking spaces in parking garages. We did this by detecting parking spaces through a low power bluetooth mesh network. So each parking space has a custom built module that talks to one another. The data is relayed in a rudimentary fashion till it reaches the end node, which then displays the information on an android application, after being inserted into the database, through a web server. Vacant parking spots can also be viewed through a bright green LED.
