Laser Skeet shooting can be a new way to provide a safe method of
practice or training for the skeet sports. Rather than always having to use
conventional bullets and non-reusable clay targets, an individual can use this
Laser Skeet device to trigger a re-usable target, which in the long run reduces
the amount of lead waste, littering, whilst increasing safety and cost
effectiveness. Our project is comprised
of two parts, a laser gun and a skeet sensor target. The gun sends out a laser
pulse and the target reports back a hit by way of a 915 Mhz 802.15.4 RF link. The gun is also responsible for
tracking and displaying the score.
