Senior Design Project Summary
Group 10: Auto Brew
The Auto Brew aims to bring the quality of professional manufacturing processes and supervisory control to the average home beer brewer. The Auto Brew will turn raw ingredients into wort and acquire important information and data during the process. This system will help hobby home brewers as well as professional brewing companies obtain important process data with the overall goal of improving the quality of the finished product. We aim to bring connectivity, control, and automation to the home brewing process. Most home brewing equipment is driven manually and requires significant amounts of time to set up and take down. By automating the process and providing detailed supervisory control, we hope to have the Auto Brew allow the home brewer to focus on the beer instead of process control.
